What a busy and magical end to the term we’ve had! The children have been busy creating lots of festive crafts, with plenty of glitter and sparkle. I know they are very excited to bring their Christmas surprises home this week!

We’ve also enjoyed some lovely festive outings recently. The children had a wonderful visit to see the reindeer, soaked up the Christmas atmosphere at the garden centre, and had great fun exploring the Christmas tree farm. These trips really helped bring the Christmas season to life, provoking lots of conversation and given us some great learning opportunities.

This week we are celebrating with two Christmas parties for the children to enjoy amongst lots of fun activities. They are very welcome to wear a Christmas jumper if they’d like. We’ll also be having some Christmas treats for snack time – a little exception to our usual healthy eating, to really create that party atmosphere and make it extra special for the children!
On a personal note, I’m really proud to share that behind the scenes I have completed my Level 3 Early Years SENCO qualification this year. I have worked really hard for this and now feel that I am more equipped to support any children with SEND that may want to be a part of our setting.
I will be sending out my holiday dates for 2026 in the next few weeks, so please keep an eye out for those.
If anyone would like Journey Bear to come home for Christmas, please just let me know – he’d love to join in with your family celebrations!
Just a reminder that we will be closed for Christmas from Friday 19th December and will reopen on Tuesday 6th January.
Thank you all for a lovely term, and for your ongoing support throughout the year. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas filled with love, laughter, and special family time.
