Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all well and have enjoyed the Easter break.
We enjoyed doing some Easter crafts and activities over half term, including egg and spoon races, painting, Easter cards and cake decorating.
Over the past few months, you may have noticed we have been going to different toddler groups. I have been making sure that each of your children attend at least one larger toddler group with me each week. This is to help with the children's social skills and confidence in new situations. The children have all made such huge progress in different ways because of this, and I can see progress in confidence, social skills, sharing, and language development in all the children.
I have recently invested some money into quite a few new resources including a Yoto player, so that children can freely access audio books. The children are really enjoying choosing themselves stories and playing them. We have a range of audio books and rhyme cards. This will not replace reading and books but will be an addition for the children to extend their learning. Please feel free to come and see how it works or share with me any conversations your children have with you at home about it.
Coming up over the next few months- We will be talking about the Kings Coronation, looking at farm animals and as we get a bit more into Spring we will be in the garden and planting seeds and looking at bugs.
Just to let you know, I have recently changed my invoice system, so when I send out the invoices this week, the new invoices may look slightly different. Please look out for them in your email.
