Hi Everyone,
Its been a while since I have done a Newsletter. Over the past few months, we have been doing activities linked to Winter. We enjoyed pancakes on pancake day too! As we go into March, we will be noticing the signs of Spring and starting to plant some seeds.

Have the children told you about our self-registration tree? They each have a peg doll with their name on to hang on the tree to show ‘Who is here today’. This is a great way for the children to start becoming familiar with name recognition.
I am mid-way through some training to support the children’s speech, language and communication. It’s been really useful and informative. I have implemented a couple of things in the setting. Including a visual timetable, that the children help to plan the day and I have noticed that they use it through the day to see what is happening next, along with this, I have been using a 5-minute sand timer for the children to have a visual sign of the amount of time left before we change activity. This has been a really beneficial tool for some of the children, and I can already notice the impact it is having on the children’s wellbeing at transition times.
FOOD REMINDERS:
Please DO NOT send nuts in the children’s lunchbox due to potential allergy risks. This includes whole nuts, peanut butter, nuts in chocolate or cakes etc.
Please cut any grapes, blueberries, cherry tomatoes that children bring for lunch, they should all be cut length ways to avoid being a choking hazard.
Dates to remember:
Closed: Monday 1st to Friday 5th April.
School holidays: Mon 25th March to Friday 5th April.
Please remember to let me know if there is anything your children are working towards at home, that I can support them with here too. I like to work with you to give the children consistency!
Could you please make sure that any signatures outstanding are signed on the app please, so I can make sure everything is up to date.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your children’s lives!
