Hi Everyone,
We have got to the end of another year and nearly ready for the Christmas break. Its been a busy few weeks, and we have been really enjoying the festivities with lots of crafts and activities. Some of you will have already seen our creations, If children are coming in next week, you will get to take their creations home then and see what we have been up to.
The children have enjoyed a variety of Christmas treats this month including a toddler group Christmas party, a trip to a local school nativity, visit to the garden centre, soft play and a special story time with santa. The children have enjoyed these treats and it has been a real delight to share this with them.
I know there have been a few colds going round in the most recent weeks, the children all seem to be coping well, lets hope we can get them all gone before Christmas. Thank you to all of you that have kept children at home on the days they are unwell. I know at times it can be difficult and going to work is important, but if children arn’t well enough to play and enjoy the busy day, they really do need to be at home with you, where they can rest and get themselves better. Thank you for your cooperation with this.
At the end of last month I had my graded inspection. As most of you know, I was beside myself with nerves and I just am still absolutely gobsmacked and amazed that we were given an OUTSTANDING grade. This means the world to me, and I am so proud of us all for being an amazing team and for working together for the benefit of your children to create an environment that is somewhere they love to come and play, learn and grow. Thank you for giving me the privilidge of not only looking after your most precious children but developing relationships with them that will create solid foundations to support their future.
